While we are down at the moment, don’t count us out yet.
Not 3 days after we secured and setup a dedicated
server to originate the stream, our host, WHR, went under,
and took with it our broadcasting point.
So we are once again off air, and once again, we
have leads on a possible new host, though its all still idle
speculation between people who have no say in the matter at
this point.
Check in on us again in a week or two, you might be
surprised at what you find.

As you might have noticed, we currently are having problems
keeping the stream up and running. The source of the
stream is on a machine located half a continent away, and
being hosted by a friend while we work a permanent solution,
which is in the works (and involves getting a 8mb down/1mb
up dsl line). Please bear with us for the time being.
Hosting the stream locally (which is the solution in the
works) will also allow us to greatly expand the playlist.

The index page was recoded in php, allowing us to do all
sorts of swanky embedded station statistics.

We now have link buttons, so
you can officially link us in style.

It's official, we are once again live to the world.
While we are still finalizing everything (especially when it
comes to software and playlists), we are at least
broadcasting again. We would like to thank our
gracious host, Web Hosting Radio, for getting us streaming again.
Please visit them and let them know your appreciation.
We are also still working on getting a lower bandwidth
(dial-up) stream up and running again, which will hopefully
happen when everything else gets worked out. So, for
the time being, sit down, tune in, and trance out.
Enjoy!

Now that our plans have finalized, we are happy to announce
that we have a new host in
www.webhostingradio.com. They are leaders in the
field of web hosting review, and are sharing their resources
with us. As soon as we get the software that we need
to stream from installed on the server, we will be live
again. Check back soon to see if we are up.

After shutting down due to our own popularity five months
ago, we are now in negotiations with a web hosting company
to put pulse back online with a 20mb/sec line. If all
goes well, we should be able to reliance in a few weeks
time. Please stop back often to check our status.

Unfortunately, our own popularity has shut us down for the
moment. We were averaging 20 users on our 128kbit
stream, and were regularly pushing our 32 user cap.
What this means is that we we're using about a megabyte of
bandwidth per second, and our gracious host was starting to
get in trouble for pushing that much bandwidth over her
network. We believe that we've found a new host, and
we are in the process of getting the music to them.
The host will be live again as soon as possible.

We've added 8 new sets to the playlist over the past two
days, ranging from better known DJ's such as DJ Tiesto and
Paul van Dyk to some lesser known DJ's such as DJ Astrid and
DJ Snowman. Another 11 hours worth of music, and we
are actively searching for more DJ Tiesto on recommendation
from a listener.

We're in the process of adding a number of new live mixes to
the playlist from some well known DJ's, as well as some
lesser known ones (or at least, lesser known out side of
Europe). When all is said and done, we'll have added 8 sets
totaling over 11 hours of new music.

We've just added 26 new tracks to the playlist totaling 26
hours. There were a large number of Oakenfold
essentials, as well as some Paul van Dyk, a DJ Jan mix, and
a set from Love Parade 2000. Please let us know what
you think of the new additions.
